Going into the holiday season, give some thought to "presence" as well as "presents". Don't the two seem alike? If you are genuine in your fullest expression of you, you are a gift to others around you, not to mention the PLANET!! Slow down and feel into the moments- they last longer this way. Easier said than done? Break out of the "doing" and "push" patterns by surrounding yourself with holiday smells, music, etc. Create a holiday atmosphere in your home or office. Immerse yourself in the "feelings" of the season!

Do you wonder how you can feel relaxed and aware in your body at the same time? I'm not talking about a hypervigilence- a watching. I'm referencing a soft awareness- a feeling into, a noticing. When you contact this awareness- the truth for you in the moment-your breath deepens, your body relaxes and tension releases. The chronic tension pattern changes with awareness and you can free up energy once used in holding for living more fully to your potential.
